Friends of the Joliet Public Library
will
be hosting a
book sale Saturday, August 7,
outside the Main Library
during the
Downtown Joliet KidzFest.
Scanners are now available at both the Main
Library and Black Road Branch. Prices are 10 cents per page
for black and white and $1 per page for color copies.
Text notifications: Stay up-to-date on all your Library account
activity! Sign up for this free service and receive updates on items
on hold for you that are ready to be picked up, overdue notices, and
courtesy notices for items that will be due soon. You can even send
a text message to renew your items. Sign up by texting the message SIGNUP to jolietlib@shoutbomb.com.
The Zonta Club of Joliet
recently donated a
poster and funds to purchase books on women's history to the Library. The poster is titled "American Women," and features
pictures and bio's of prominent American women. The poster is
currently displayed for viewing on the second floor of the Main
Library.
Need help finding legal
information? You can use our Job
Search/Legal Self Help computers located in
the Internet Computer Center on the Lower Level of the Main
Building to connect to
Illinois Legal Aid for resources
including the Will County Legal Self-Help
Center.
Live
Homework Help is
available online
everyday for all Joliet
Public Library
cardholders: students in
K-12th grade, College
Introduction classes,
and adult learners.
